* During the week of September 26th, we will be studying animal and plant adaptations. Also, remember that reading Accelerated Reader books containing Science content not only helps them to reach their reading goal, but has the added benefit of boosting their scientific knowledge base. It fosters a love of Science and familiarizes them with important scientific terms!
* Coming in October: The first project of the year will be our leaf collection project. Projects will be due on Friday, October 14th, however, projects turned in early will be accepted. Work will be on display in the intermediate hall display cabinet for two weeks after the due date before projects are returned. Scoring rubric have been sent home with your child. Possible resources are the internet, library books, or a knowledgable family member or neighbor.
